Generally

The terms apply between the user ("Customer") and Lepidus Cycling AB, organization no. 559261-5933 ("Lepidus") which operates the website. These terms and conditions as of 01/15/2024.

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes to these terms will be posted on the Website in these terms. Changes apply from the moment the Customer has accepted the Terms (in connection with a new purchase or when visiting the Website). The Seller recommends that the Customer keep up-to-date on the Website regularly to be aware of any changes to the Terms and Conditions. Lepidus acts as an intermediary for existing brands and is thus responsible together with and based on our suppliers' specific conditions. Lepidus is not responsible for damages arising from the use of the websites. Like any company, Lepidus cannot promise a website free of problems and some security issues.

Terms of purchase

Prices

The prices listed on the website are inclusive of value added tax (VAT). Shipping is added according to the currently presented shipping prices, unless otherwise stated.

Orders

These terms of purchase apply when you as a consumer place an order on the website. All orders according to these terms and conditions are made via the website, all other orders via, for example, sellers that do not go through payment on the website are done separately from these terms and conditions. When purchasing, it is confirmed that you have accepted these conditions when you receive an order confirmation by email to the email address you specified at the time of ordering. Lepidus does not enter into contracts with minors (under 18) without the guardian's approval. Currently, contracts can only be entered into with customers with a delivery address in Sweden. All orders are processed within 24 hours (normal working week, weekdays only). The products come with an instruction manual in physical or digital form if necessary for use of the product, normally the instruction manual should be in Swedish or English.

Deliveries

Your order is processed immediately after purchase and shipped in accordance with the presented estimated deliveries. Please note that estimated deliveries are not actual and may vary depending on availability, over-ordering and the ability of our suppliers to deliver to Lepidus. According to these terms, Lepidus undertakes to keep the customer informed of the current delivery status and the possibility of replacement goods in the event of delayed or canceled orders.

Any costs for shipping are presented or selected in connection with your purchase and prices may vary over time and/or depending on which delivery option the customer chooses.

Assembly and delivery of bicycles

When ordering a bicycle, the customer is contacted for delivery options and assembly. Contact us for viewing, order and delivery options for bikes and unpacked components.

Cancellation

Must take place before a product or service has been shipped or started, in which case a full refund or cancellation of the order takes place. In the case of partial payment, the payment is interpreted as a purchase and cannot be cancelled, but is referred to conditions regarding the right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right to cancel their purchase against a full refund according to Swedish Applicable Law within 14 days and a further 14 days thereafter (Total 30 days). The product must be returned in the original packaging and/or in accordance with how the product was delivered. Lepidus administers returns at current shipping prices. An order with partial payment can be canceled based on the different parts of the payment, i.e. a total of 30 days after a partial payment has been made. After 30 days of a partial payment, no refund can be made of that particular payment. The remaining part of the order is canceled in connection with regret and no other costs are charged to the customer. You can either request to return your product via your order or you can contact us to arrange the return and refund of your product. As a customer, you also have the right by law to use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard form for exercising the right of withdrawal.

By Lepidus canceled order

Lepidus has the right to cancel orders because the goods have run out and cannot be delivered in accordance with the order. In the event of such an event, Lepidus shall present any replacement products to the customer. If no replacement product can be agreed upon, a full refund including any partial payment must be made within 30 days after the cancellation has taken place.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro & American Express. Lepidus is not responsible for the individual conditions of each of these card providers

Klarna

Lepidus offers Klarna pay now, Pay later and split. Klarna and its terms and conditions handle the payments, any delays in payments and their costs as well as credit checks are handled by Klarna

Wallet

We accept Apple Pay and Google Pay in accordance with their terms and conditions from time to time

Transport damage, complaints and guarantees

Transport damage

Lepidus is responsible for goods that are damaged or lost during delivery to you. Complaints of visible transport damage must be reported directly and hidden damage within 7 days of receiving the products. When receiving the shipment, it is therefore important to check that the goods have not been damaged in transit. Check the packaging, do not sign if the packaging is not complete. The agent/carrier must note on his and your copy of the waybill that the packaging was broken on delivery. After this is done, you can sign. You then contact Lepidus via email: anders@lepiduscycling.com or via the form on the website.

Complaint

If a product deviates from what follows from the agreement between you and Lepidus or otherwise does not correspond to the description of the product that Lepidus has given, the product can be complained about. Only original faults are covered by the right of complaint, the right of complaint does not cover, for example, faults caused by normal wear and tear. You can complain about product faults for up to three years from the time of purchase. The right to complain is not affected by any warranty. You must make a complaint within a reasonable time from when the error was discovered. If you advertise within two months, it is always considered within a reasonable time. In the event that the supplier to Lepidus has at any time other conditions for guarantees and complaints procedures that exceed the above-mentioned guarantees, these and its procedure apply. It is therefore important to check whether the brand, for example, requires registration of the product and you as a customer.

To make a complaint, you must make a complaint request to customer service. A complaint must be reviewed by Lepidus before it is approved. You make a complaint request by emailing us at anders@lepiduscycling.com or via our forms on the website and providing us with the following information: order number, payment reference such as receipt/order confirmation, photo or video documentation of the damage and the reason for your complaint. Please describe the problem in more detail so that we can help you as best as possible.

In the event of an approved complaint, we are responsible for all costs including all shipping and any partial payments if a non-equivalent product could replace the product.

Guarantee

All goods at Lepidus have a minimum 1-year warranty unless otherwise specified by Lepidus or our suppliers. Our warranty applies to manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not affect the rights that the customer has according to the law, for example the right to complain. To use the warranty, you must make a warranty/complaint request to customer service. Is it not approved before you e.g. visited a workshop, unfortunately we cannot pay out any compensation. The procedure is the same as for a complaint request.

In the event that the supplier to Lepidus has at any time other conditions for guarantees and complaints procedures that exceed the above-mentioned guarantees, these and its procedure apply. It is therefore important to check whether the brand, for example, requires registration of the product and you as a customer.

Warranty exception

The warranty does not always apply. At the points below, the customer cannot demand that the warranty apply:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by tools that the customer himself has used in connection with his own adjustments is not compensated.
  • Accidents caused by the customer
  • Abnormal use.
  • The customer has not followed care and service instructions.

If you send back a guarantee before consulting with us and it turns out not to be approved, you will be charged for the extra costs that Lepidus is forced to bear such as shipping, checks of the product and administration.

Refunds of the above

The refund is made via the payment method you have chosen or via bank account transfer depending on whether there is an intermediary between the customer and Lepidus or not (for example Klarna). Reimbursement is made as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after an approved complaint and returned item.

Miscellaneous

Consumer protection

These purchase conditions are applied to the purchase agreement that you as a consumer conclude with Lepidus Cycling regardless of where the product was purchased. To safeguard your interests as a customer, the regulations in the Consumer Purchase Act (SFS 1990:932), the Distance and Home Sales Act (SFS 2005:59) and the Personal Data Act (SFS 1998:204) are applied to all purchases at Lepidus Cycling AB.

Force majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond Lepidu's reasonable control, for example in the event of a change in legislation, authority measures, strike, blockade, sabotage, war, terrorism, fire, flood, natural disaster or similar events, Lepidu's obligation to fulfill the purchase agreement shall be postponed for as long as the circumstance prevails . If such delay exceeds 2 months, both you and Lepidus have the right to cancel the agreement with immediate effect without any obligation to pay damages.

Personal data

Lepidus is responsible for ensuring that the personal data provided in connection with purchases is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Act. By accepting the purchase agreement with Lepidus, you consent to your data being saved, in order to be able to process your order and carry out the purchase, facilitate future purchases, enable updating of your order status and for the sending of offers from Lepidus, by SMS, e-mail or other direct mail. As a customer, you can access the saved data, change it or request deletion. You can also withdraw your consent to receive offers at any time.

Price and Product information

In the event of any inaccuracies (e.g. wrong price, stock status, misprint on the website, mass orders, etc.) we reserve the right to correct the error afterwards. In the event of any incorrect information, you have the right to cancel your purchase, with reference to the Consumer Purchase Act. All image information should be viewed as illustrations and cannot be guaranteed to reproduce the exact appearance and condition of the item.

Lepidus and Klarna use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is saved by your browser. This is used to provide access to various functions and simplify your purchase process. Reviews

By leaving reviews about products on the website, you also give Lepidus the right to publish them on the website as well as in other channels and media. Lepidus reserves the right not to publish and/or remove submitted reviews.
